About This Item
Text by Will Irwin. Illustrated from halftone photographs by Arnold Genthe throughout. (8vo), black cloth titled and decorated in gilt. Inscribed, but probably not by the author. Light rubbing along joints of somewhat sunned spine, a few stains, corners rubbed; leaves mildly toned; very good or better. A rather haunting collection of photographs of Chinese people living in the Chinatown section of Francisco at the turn of the last century.
