Hollywood: Columbia Pictures, 1933. First Edition. Very Good/4-mil clear mylar envelope. This is an ORIGINAL publicity photograph from the 1933 Columbia Pictures movie "THE THRILL HUNTER" (aka working title: "THE LOVABLE LIAR") starring Buck Jones and Dorothy Revier. Per the snipe on the verso: "Buck Jones, as a novice in Hollywood in his latest Columbia picture, "The Lovable Liar", learns camera intricacies from his leading lady, Dorothy Revier." Note the early movie camera and tripod. Snippets of this film can be seen on YouTube.

Buck Jones (1891-1942) was one of the greatest of the "B" western film stars, whose career spanned the silents into sound pictures. Regrettably, he died from injuries sustained in the deadly Cocoanut Club fire in Boston in November, 1942. Dorothy Revier (1904-1993) starred in both silent and sound "B" movies and was sometimes referred to unkindly as the "Queen of Poverty Row". She starred in several Buck Jones westerns. A Very Good copy (border chip; 2 closed tears with tape on verso; corner fold lines; verso data;rubbed from handling), now in clear 4mil mylar protective envelope.
