London and Edinburgh: T. C. & E. C. Jack, 1911. First Edition. Three-Quarter Leather. Near Fine. 2 vols. xiv, 153; x, 127 p. 57 plates in volume one and 65 in volume two. A few in each are colour. "Edition de Luxe" limited to 150 copies signed and numbered, of which this is no. 132. A few library marks on front loose endpapers. Vol. 1 has slight soiling on page 145 and vol. 2 a thumb mark on its illustration list. Arthur Morrison (1863 - 1945) wrote short stories, books and plays and collected a large number of Japanese prints, now in the British Museum. In his later years he was an acknowledged international authority on Oriental art.
