Bookplate of previous owner inside front cover.). Red cloth boards with gilt spine lettering; top edge gilt, color illustrated frontispiece; xiv, 152 pp; bw and color plates. Each plate is accompanied by a descriptive guard sheet. Volume 1 only of a 2 volume set. A survey by the British novelist and Japanese art collector Morrison, and many of the works he collected ended up in the British Museum.
