London:John Lane, 1898. First Edition. hard cover. Very Good/No jacket. London:John Lane. 1898. 1st edition. 140pp, with pages largely uncut. Hardcover. Green boards soiled, especially along spine strip,  with light shelfwear to edges and spine ends. Page edges soiled.  Internally, end papers age toned, but free of previous owners marks or signatures, with a few bits of foxing to prelims.  Title unread, as pages largely uncut.  The binding is tight but front hinge is cracked with rear intact. Laid in is the play bill of the Greenwich Village Theatre, during the first presentation in America of this comedy.
