Subscriber list, summary of the arguments within the poem. 466pp of the poem plus index. Portrait of Milton on title page and marbled endpapers. 3 pages at front have a tear and there is an ink stain on the edge. (see pictures). From the library of Lockhart of Cleghorn with their bookplate on the front pastedown. With an inscription 'Barbara Lockhart from her sister Mrs Jamieson' on the front endpapers.***Heavy & will require overseas postage***
