The edges are stained red, marbled endpapers, engraved frontispiece with tissue guard. The appendix has two essays on blank verse. There is a previous owner's engraved bookplate and a previous owner's inscription dated 1882. The marbled boards are rubbed and a bit worn on the edges. Locale: Italy.
