n.p., 1973. No binding. Near fine. Illustrated broadside, printed in black ink, signed by Andrew Hoyem. A short prose poem about a man losing his hat in a sudden flurry, which can be read on so many levels; the simple tale of a man losing his hat during a windstorm; or "how badly the Hat needs a head to fill up its emptiness and restore its purpose in life"; or two halves each yearning for the other; or, a hat that "find[s] itself a crown". With a delightful illustration of a man jumping to catch - or flying? - his hat which seems destined to remain forever out of reach.
From an unknown limitation, printed before Hoyem founded his Arion Press. Quite uncommon, and not listed in the Grabhorn-Hoyem Bibliography.
