Synopsis

Maya Angelou (b. 1928), poet, writer, performer, teacher, and director, is the author of the bestselling autobiographies I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings (nominated for a National Book Award), Gather Together in My Name , and The Heart of a Woman , as well as five collections of poetry. Paul Gauguin (1848-1903), the French Post-impressionist painter, abandoned  his family and his career as a stockbroker to paint in Tahiti and other exotic locations.  According to some art scholars, modern art began with Paul Gauguin.  Today his work is in the permanent collections of museums all over the world.

As avid bibliophiles, we take much pride in the quality and integrity of the books we offer for sale. Our books are varied and diverse. We believe we have a great collection of books that we take great care of, and take pride in owning. Every dust jacket is gently cleaned with a surface safe spray gel. Photographs are taken of the actual books we offer for sale, and every book is stored on a bookshelf. We're always on the lookout for the next great book to peek inside and offer for sale. We want every current and future customer to enjoy purchasing books from us, as much as we enjoy having the books to offer for sale.
