Washington, D.C.: Philp & Solomons, 1860. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. x, 239, 16pp ads. Brown embossed cloth, gilt lettering and capitol in gilt, double-page map. Spine slightly sunned, covers otherwise are in very sound condition. Endpapers are lightly foxed and text is age-toned, and has a very occasional spot, binding is tight, map is in clean, crisp condition. Background and descriptions of Washington's buildings and institutions, along with illustrations.
