This copy a unique copy containing 3 highly finished drawings by Martin which were used in the book, two suites of proofs for the illustrations in the book, and one finished watercolor which is not used in the book, but depicts both of the central figures of the story. Martin is considered to be one of the most important of the Art Deco illustrators, and this present book is certainly one of his most charming. Fine. Rare.
