Very impressively finished. Externally sound with some rubbing to the board edges. Some surface rubbing also evident. Bright and clean throughout with some scattered marginal foxing, mainly around the prelims and plates. Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong. ; 8vo 8"" - 9"" tall; 379 pages; Physical description: clxvii, xii, 379 p : ill., plates, facsims. ; 23 cm. Notes: With reproduction of original t.p., dated 1678 and original t.p. of v.2, dated 1684.
