Wonderful animated edition of the famous Pinocchio by Carlo Lorenzin alias Collodi. The volume contains 8 colourd planches by Attilio Mussino which become animated thanks to an internal mechanism. The mechanism works thanks to bookmarks in the lower edge. Dedication dated 1948 in the verso of the title page, gift of an uncle to his nephew with the prayer to "keep on be good, obedient and scholar". Each page has red and green vignettes. White and black illustrations by Bartolini Salimbeni. The mechanism of the planche has been restored. In good condiitons. Editorial illustrated cover in good conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in good conditions. Pages in good conditions with occasional foxings.
