Scattered illustrations throughout. 4to. Original wrpps. with cover illustration from Donati, some very minor toning. Housed in mylar cover. Numbered copy 50 from a limited edition of 500, signed to colophon. Gómez-Correa was a Chilean poet and diplomat. Together with Teófilo Cid, he cofounded the Chilean surrealist group Mandrágora in July 1938 at the University of Chile. From 1949 to 1951, he resided in Paris with the main members of the French surrealist movement, establishing connections with Breton and Magritte.
