(Previously published as a hardcover two months earlier, with the name of "America: The Story of a Free People" in December, 1942). Bureau of Naval Personnel Educational Services Training Division rubber-stamped on FFEP. Previous owner's name and D.C. address penciled on same page. "#5" in green pencil at top of Title Page. Otherwise, leaves are clean and unmarked, though slightly yellowed. Block edges topstained red. Some shelf wear to cover edges. Some creasing to covers and spine. Book is considered to be in Very Good condition despite cosmetic wear to covers. $1.95 original price on front cover and spine heel. More photos available upon request. Shipped in a box within a box, in bubble wrap; with a tracking number.
