The Poets of Great Britain Complete From Chaucer to Churchill. 3 vols.: xlvii, [2], 50-231; 202; xiv, [3], 18-219, [1] p. 13 cm. Vol. 1 has engraved frontispiece portrait of Prior, which states Printed for John Bell near Exeter Exchange Strand London, Jan. 20th, 1778. Engraved title pages, with different illustrations, stating Printed for John Bell near Exeter Exchange Strand London Aug. 1st, 1777. Full leather. Burgundy and black spine labels. All text block edges green. Two front pastedowns have bookplates of Hon. William Forward. Light wear and a few spots.

Vol. I contains odes, songs, ballads, tales, prologues, and epilogues. Vol. II contains epistles, hymns, epigrams, Carmen Seculare, Celia to Damon, Daphne to Apollo. Vol. III contains, Solomon, Alma, Nut-Brown Maid, Henry and Emma.
