This book won Howitt favor of active Liberals and the office of alderman in Nottingham, where he and his wife lived. Scarce in the original binding. Very good (little wear with few small worn spots binding; contents pretty clean & tight with only an occasional brown spot). "Mary Jane Goodwin with her Mother's love," penned on the front endpaper. $125.00.
