Random House, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition stated. 8vo, 1/4 buckram on paper boards with a photo of Stein on the cover, paper spine label, top edge stained purple. Very Good: binding tight and square, just a touch of rubbing at the corners, the spine label is toned but not chipped, one very small spot of fraying of the buckram, front hinge starting, the black prelim is present but separated. Signed by Stein at the top of the ffep, dated March 34
