Amsterdam: D. B. Centen, 1950., 1950.. Good. - Octavo, softcover bound in cream-colored wrappers, The wraps are unevenly darkened with a stain to the rear wrap. The spine & the adjacent edges of the wraps are darkened where the spine appears to have once been reinforced with tape. A compliment slip has been stapled to the top corner of the inside front wrap and 3 small pieces of brown tape have been used to cover up the staples on the front cover. 114 & [5] pages. Illustrated with diagrams, tables & mathematical formulas. There is some staining to the top end of the fore-edge & to the top edge of the book. Good. <p>A doctoral thesis from the University of Amsterdam. The text is in English with a title page partially in Dutch, as well as summaries in Dutch.<p>Rare in commerce.
