About the author

Nancee Cline teaches at Hawaii Community College and attends Christ Church, both in Kealakekua. She has a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities from CSUDH, and certificates in Theological Education from University of the South, and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Nancee is the author of Cry, the Beloved Children, and several essay collections. For this history project she has received a publishing grant from the Hawaii Council for the Humanities.
