First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. eight volumes complete, original publisher's cloth, paper labels, spine to vol 2 missing, bindings much worn, some spines torn and boards detached, spines chipped at ends, (boards all present but the set needs rebinding), text blocks throughout clean and sound. Volumes 1 to 3 were published as Part One in 1826. A further three volumes were planned to complete the work, but had expanded to five volumes when they finally appeared in 1828. Scarce theological work.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
