Georgian House, Melbourne, 1956. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Good. introduction by author. Light blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with white and red coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Listed alphabetically, this small book is a dictionary of Australian Federal Politics; with entries on the various political parties, burning questions of the day, and even small potted histories of more prominent politicians. Softening and sunning of the back strip edges with some fading of the cloth. Rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Light browning of the text block edges and pages. Offset tanning and some handling marks to the endpapers. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip corners. A few small closed tears to the top dustwrapper edge and there is a 0.25 " tear to the lower edge of the dustwrapper. Creasing of the lower edge and there is fading to the back strip and handling marks to the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 125, [1] pages.. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
