Vol. I- 435 pp. Vol. II- 410 pp. Vol.III- 365 pp. Vol. IV- 357 pp. Vol. V- 352 pp. Fine contemporary full calf, with at both covers the Crowned, Circular Crest of the Order of the Garter, with a well executed coat of Arms ( not yet researched) within a finely crafted tooled golden line with palmettes and "petits Fers" Richly gilded spines, with contrasting title-pieces and number label, All Edges Gilt. (all five) spines seriously worn, hinges weak, but holding, except for the upper cover of Vol. I, which is loose. (waiting for a nice restoration job by your very own skillfull binder) Fine pink flyleaves/ endpapers. Printed on very fine paper, generous margins. Not listed with Cohen, ( Guide de l'amateur des livres a gravures) nor Boissais/ de la Planque.( Le livre a gravures au XVIIIe Siecle) See; Brunet; III-1175. Apart for the spines a tremendous opportunity ta acquire a "great book" for a modest price.......
