Tales of a Traveller, illus. of The Money Diggers drawn by Frank T. Merrill. The Alhamera preface to the revised edition is dated 1851. Astoria includes a couple of drawings by Frederic Remington, Trappers Crossing the Rockies and Canadian Voyageurs. Sketch Book Abbotsford, preface to the revised edition is dated 1848. Woefert's Toost and other Stories Newstead Abbey. Has a water stain, drawings by various artists. Knickerbocker's History of New York with drawings by FOC Darby. (Remember the Macaronis?) Has a closed tear in the tissue covering the frontis drawing. In VG condition. There is some foxing. The tissue paper is very discolored (not acid free) and some discoloration to rest of book. Hardcover has major foxing or spots. 101 pages which were done on a substandard typewriter and didn't always copy well. Melancholy poetry which appears to be a search for God. I felt the need to bring this effort to the attention of the public. Ships with delivery confirmation.

Depression era poetry which is typed with linoleum wood cuts.

There is a Barnes and Nobles Autographed Copy sticker on the front end page. On the half title page is the inscription, "To My friend Pauline, I was so delighted that you and Louise honored me by coming to the signing of this book that has been in the making much (2/3) of the time we've known each other. The book is in Near Fine condition. Then dust jacket is fair with tears and small pieces missing on the backside and top and bottom edges of the spine. This book is about the underground railroad and is written for ages 5 - 7.

Main portion of the dw in Near Fine condition, some rubbing along the foredge. Dust Jacket is very worn and faded on the spine with small tears and small pieces missing. Corners are rubbed/worn. Book in VG with Near Fine condition. Top and bottom edges of the spine are bent under, corners bumped/rubbed. This is the revised January 1963 HC edition. Ships with delivery confirmation.
