Salem New York: Salem Review Press, 1896 Inscribed in pencil, "For Cousin Susahha/ with love, /from one of the authors." Prepared for publication by a group of Salem's Sons and Daughters. Included are chapters on "Interesting Genealogies, Old Families, Salem's Distiguished Sons, Salem in the Revolution, Soldiers of the War for the Union, The Old White Church, and many more. Of particualr interest to the local history buff is the fact that this author wrote in pencil at the end of each chapter, the name of the author of that chapter. This copy has a broken front hinge with the front endpapers, frontis and one internal page detached. Otherwise a clean copy.
