About This Item
Chicago: Sam H. Harris, 1925. Original Program . Small Program. Nice 16pg. small program for The Sam H. Harris Theatre in Chicago. The play presented was "Rain" starring Jeanne Eagels. The program has a nice Art Deco color drawing of a showgirl being frightned by a mouse on the cover. "Rain" was Jeanne Eagels most famous role in which she starred as Sadie Thompson and was nominated for an Oscar in 1928 after her death for her performance in the original version of "The Letter." A troubled star, she had big problems with drink and drugs. Some nice ads, light wear, a touch of soiling to the cover, loose from one staple, tiny corner chip. Vg.
