Designer Theo Metejko's "Sascha - Studio and Garden Party" - 5 July 1919, made in the studio of Sascha Filmindustrie AG, Vienna (...)". Lithograph 15.5 x 21.5". The production business was established in 1910 by Alexander Joseph "Sascha", Count Kolowrat-Krakowsky. In 1918, after a merger with film distributors Philipp & Pressburger, the business became Sascha-Filmindustrie AG. Producing epic films such as Alexander Korda's "Prince and Beggar" (1920), Michael Curtiz's "Sodom und Gomorrha"(1922) as well as "The Slave Queen" (1924), the Sasch Filmindustrie AG company became one of the most successful European film producers. Designer Theo Matejko created press, theatre, film and political posters as well as backgrounds for films. His film poster work included "Dr. Mabuse" (1922), "Der letzte Mann" (1924) and Cecil De Milles "Ten Commandments" (1924). Domestic s&h $20..
