New York: Published by the American Tract Society, No. 144 Nassau St., [1833]., [1833].. Fair. - 24mo, 4-3/8 inches high by 2-3/4 inches wide. Softcover, bound in printed yellow paper wrappers. Titled with a vignette within a floral decorated border on the front cover and with ads for the American Tract Society's publications printed within a decorated frame on the rear cover. The covers are stained and wraps are splitting along the bottom of the spine. The corners are creased. 16 pages, illustrated with a title page vignette, a full-page woodcut and 19 woodcut vignettes. The full-page woodcut is partially hand-colored by a child. There is foxing and staining throughout and several page corners are creased. An early owner's name is penned above ink scribbling on the rear of the front cover with some ink smudges to the title page.

The text consists of hymns and poems based on texts from the Scriptures. "No. 20" is printed at the head of the title.

The American Tract Society was located at 144 Nassau St. in New York from 1827 to 1833. This little book is number XX of Series II.
