Vol. 1 published 1789 by 'Nella Stamperia degli Eredi Pecchioni'; Vols. 2 and 3 published 1790 by 'Gaetano Cambiagi Stampator Reale' (Cambiagi was an important publisher in Florence at that time; Pecchioni had much fewer productions and it is difficult to learn anything about him); Italian text. Concina era noto principalmente per il suo inflessibile rigore e per le sue orazioni energiche e spesso violente. Il suo intento era quello di un ritorno alla Chiesa delle origini. Questa opera formata da tre dissertazioni è una critica aperta alle rappresentazioni teatrali a causa della loro presunta influenza corruttrice dei costumi. Al verso dell'occhietto il testo di una lettera circolare di Papa Benedetto XIV datata 1 Gennaio 1748 agli arcivescovi e vescovi in latino ed in volgare nella quale egli attesta la tolleranza anche se di mala voglia per il divertimento carnevalesco.
