Limited edition, this one of 125 copies, 1933, hardcover with mock vellum spine and blue paper boards in original plain paper dust jacket, octavo, 25pp., not illustrated. Book VG with soil and toning to boards, small hole in paper on front board, mild wear to spine ends and corners, binding tight, endpapers off-set and foxed, otherwise text clean and unmarked. DJ good with toning, soil and rubbing, edgewear that includes tears and small chips to spine ends and corners, foxing, now in archival mylar wrap.

One of 125 copies, octavo size, 28 pp. This edition, privately printed for prominant San Franciscan and member of the SF Roxburghe Club 1933-1935 Oscar Sutro (1874-1935), was printed by the Grabhorn Press, one of the most highly renowned private presses in America in the twentieth century, run by brothers Edwin and Robert Grabhorn. This volume contains an address regarding William Shakespeare, a delightful read with interesting insights into the great Bard.
___DESCRIPTION: Quarter cream parchment spine with blue paper boards, gilt lettering on the spine, title page illustration and tailpiece reproduced from an early edition of Shakespeare; octavo size (approximately 9.25" tall), pagination: [i-ii] 1-26, one of 125 copies, unnumbered, privately printed for Oscar Sutro.
___CONDITION: Volume is fine, with clean boards, a strong, square text block, straight corners, solid hinges, and free of prior owner markings; slight discolouration along the front joint and some off-setting on the free endpapers (which seems to be norm), the rear bottom corner just barely rubbed.
