Signed Mid 1960s Orlando Cepeda Poster Promoting Milk ("Drink milk and improve your Batting Average")

1965. Near Fine. Scarce public health poster promoting milk and featuring baseball hall-of-famer Orlando Cepeda as its spokesman. Cepeda, the great San Francisco Giant first baseman (thru 1966) is donning bat, glove, the Giants uniform and a nice smile in the front-and-center photo of him. HE HAS NEATLY SIGNED HIS NAME in black magic marker toward the bottom-edge of this copy. A crisp, strong image, pleasing and well-designed in its orange, black and white colors. A touch of very light creasing at the edges, otherwise sharp as could be. The poster measures 14" tall x 10 1/2" wide and is mounted on an attractive orange card backdrop and framed in simple black. Cepeda was traded from the Giants to the St. Lous Cardinals midway thru the 1966 season, making the very likely date of the poster either 1964 or 1965.
