DJ faded, with edge wear and a small tear at back fore edge (tape-repaired).. Evergreen cloth/boards; gilt lettering. Glossy chocolate dj with color illus. and white lettering. Decorative end papers. 28 pp. followed by 148 color and bw plates. Errata slip laid in. Text in Ukrainian, Russian, and English. With a prefatory essay and list of illustrations, including artist (if known), title and medium. Works divided into sections of Art of the 14th - early 20th centuries and Soviet art. Very good reproductions in both color and bw.
