Contains numerous black and white illustrations and a series of essays of historic people and events of Colorado's Western Slope with footnotes at the end of each section. End papers are maps. Binding has gilt to front cover and spine with no wear. Unclipped DJ, now in Brodart, has rips at front fold and roughness around lower spine. ; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 290 pages .
