This is a unit history, with many photos of the Eastleigh U. S. Navy repair base in England during World War I; its officers and men. There are many photos of early military aircraft, and an essay on "Liberty Twelves" and "DeHavilands."

Cubberley, about whom we can find no additional information. Original poster for an exhibition of naval aircraft at Philadelphia's Commercial Museum in 1919. Various aircraft are depicted in flight. Possibly done in-house for the museum, we have only seen or heard of one other example (on blue paper), and presume it to be rare.

Two weeks after Lindbergh's solo transatlantic flight, aviator Clarence Chamberlin flew non-stop from New York to Germany, carry the first transatlantic passenger exceeding Lindbergh's record by 300 miles.
