Talwin Morris was a leading influence in the Glasgow Style, associating with the likes of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Margaret MacDonald and Frances and Herbert MacNair. He worked on Blackie books from 1897 to 1909. Book is very good++ and bright. Edges lightly rubbed. Contents average. Pages foxed and age toned. More images can be taken upon request.Ref 17165

Edinburgh: Edmonston and Douglas. Good. 1862. Ex-library. Hardcover. Ex-library copy with ink stamp on the title page. Label removed from lower spine end, book plate removed from front free endpaper. Covers have light rubbing to the corners and edges. Page edges are browned. One page has a large spatter of staining to the lower margin. Seen to a lesser extent to the reverse and to the facing page. .

Very Good. small octavo. hardback in decorated cloth 403pp., frontis., illusts., In 1871, Mr. Asbjšrnsen collected those scattered Tales and added some more to them, which he published under the title "Norske Folke-Eventyr fortalte of P. Chr. Asbjšrnsen, Ny Samling." It is from this new series as revised by the collector that the present version has been made. Believed 1917 date, but may be earlier. Neat ownership signature o/w nice copy in green decorated cloth with bright gilt
