Blue pebble cloth over boards with red lettering and design on the front and on the spine. Top page edges are tinted, foredge pages are not cut. 1st page of the text [7] has a tear from bottom page edge up 3 inches in the middle of the page. Fly leaf page torn lower right corner, around out line of a piece of tape lower right, post flyleaf, bent corner on the frontspiece lower left. Illustrated with 5 color and black and white illustration. Exterior boards, front board has a line across the lower front edge light soiling to the head and toe of the spine, 3 very small white spots on the back board. A crack in the back inside gutter. Light Browning and some foxing to the interior pages from age. Dust Jackets, 1st issue is not price clipped ($2.00) back inside flap has been bent. Jacket has much loss along the top and the front of the front and back of the dust jacket. 2nd jacket that is pictured is off a reprint book published by Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. Both jackets are included. Dust jackets are now in a clear protective covers. Text and illustrations are still bright and clean, binding is secure, a very rare and collectible signed edition by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Size: 7¾" - 9¾" Tall
