Zürich: self-published, 1966. Quartos (29.5 × 21 cm to 32 × 23.5 cm). Original staple-stitched printed wrappers; 28, 23, and 32 pp. About very good; a few pages with underlining by the former owner; one issue with crease to lower corner. Evidently the first Swiss post-war journal that understood itself as emerging from the situationist and anarchist tradition (see Projekt DadA online resource, DA-P0000776). The three issues featured two subtitles: "Problems of art in confrontation with our time" (no. 1) and "Neither to rule nor to let oneself be ruled" (no. 3). The first issue features the programmatic article by Fehr, "Against romanticism in modern art"), as well as writing on situationism and Robert Delauney. An article in issue two counters the accusation of writing in an excessively theoretical fashion. The third issue features an article on a "positive political theory of crisis" which advocates for an anarchist utopian model. With contributions by G. Bautz, Louis-Ferdinand Céline, Mario Gobbi, Johannes Grün, Richard Lohse, and Erich Mühsam. The publisher, Fredy Fehr (1917-1979) was a Swiss painter who spent much of his life in the Netherlands and was close to artists of COBRA. Pasterny, Gegenkultur-Bibliographie 83. As of June 2020, KVK and OCLC show no copies in North America (and only two holdings outside Switzerland).
