The edges of the covers are faintly foxed. 71 pages, with full-page and textual illustrations and charts throughout. Very good. <p>First edition.<p>An unclassified report discussing the "test, evaluation, and analysis of a charged coupled device (CCD) imagery system as might be deployed in artillery launched, parachute dropped, aerial reconnaissance system...." - [Quoted from the project's "Abstract"].<p>Fairchild Systems was a United States defense contractor. The San Francisco Chronicle described the company as "one of the legendary names of Silicon Valley" and noted that its Bay Area operations were a training ground for the engineers who went on to found Intel and other top semiconductor companies.
