Silver metallic lettering debossed to spine of burnt-orange, cloth-covered boards. Eight page section black and white photographs. Clean, tight, bright. 168 pp with notes, filmography, bibliograph and index. Tennessee Williams wrote such books as A Streetcar Named Desire, The Glass Menagerie, The Rose Tatoo which were adapted into film versions. "Taking the films in chronological order, the book examines the significance of changes made in the adaptations, whether for directorial purposes or because of the essential differences in the media," (front flap).
