Original art on a 1971 pressing of Sly and the Family Stone's iconic album, "There's a Riot Going On". The artist has enhanced the record sleeve illustration by painting over it with thick, colorful acrylic paint creating a more hippie-esque flag. The artist was also the owner, known only by the name on the green vintage label on the verso, "A Doucette". A wonderful combination of folk art on a seminal record.
