St. Louis: The C. V. Mosby Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1926. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Covers show light wear, mostly at corners with some light rubbing to surfaces. Gilt remains bright on spine and front cover. The binding is moderately loose though both hinges are sound. Aside from author's inscription the text is free from writing and markings but is toned at the edges. Richard L. Sutton was from Kansas City, MO and is most famous as the dermatologist who "discovered" canker sores. He was also a big game hunter and wrote this and other books about his hunting adventures. ; Undated period inscription on the ffep is signed by the author with his initials, R. L. S. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 207 pages; Signed by Author .

St. Louis: The C.v. Mosby Co, 1926. First Edition. Octavo. Frontispiece, 207pp., illustrated with 115 photographic images. This is not an authoritative treatise on tigers. It is a compilation of a series of notes made on a trip which originally was planned as a vacation. This book the author states was written for pleasure and hopefully read for pleasure. Most of the material was first published, as a series of letters, in "The Kansas City Star". A very good copy bound in red cloth centrally stamped in gilt with lettering gilt, staining to lower corner of upper board, previous owner's inscription. shelf number in ink to spine, two very tiny nicks to edge of upper board.
