Circa 1920'S Bookplate Of Charles M Crouse, With Motto "Knowledge Is Power" Shown On A Tape Being Pulled By A Bear From A Glass-Topped Stock Ticker. [ No Trace Of Later Bookplate "Power Is The Only Knowledge That Will Be Remembered" But Who Will Notice?]. Front Hinge Cracked But Newly Backed Binding Quite Solid. No Other Names Or Marks. Pages Clean, Large Folding Map At Front With A Single 3/4" Tear Extending From The Gutter Into Some Unprinted Space At The Edge Of The Map. Some Offsetting From Plates Onto Facing Pages.
