VERY GOOD book in VERY GOOD unclipped dust jacket 'Tuesday at Eight' is a story about younger people living in rural Victoria, Australia, and the organization they formed. The Young Farmer Movement grew from Junior Clubs based in just over a hundred primary schools in the 1930s. Members were taught leadership qualities, debating, public speaking and social skills; they held competitions, conducted learning tours and held camps and social events.
