Notes on the modern Renaissance of the art of glass, notes and sources, bibliography. The text is illustrated with numerous occasional colour and black-and-white grafts of blown glass examples. 1/4 tan coloured cloth covered back strip with black coloured decoration and titles. 3/4 sea blue coloured boards. Photographic dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black-and-white photograph of authors to the rear fold over panel. A book that "... traces the development of blown glassmaking from colonial days to the modern industry it is today . Moreover, recent and extensive research by the authors has an covered new facts and documentary evidence never published anywhere before." – from front fold over panel blurb. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges. There is a nasty bump to the lower edge of the front panel. Light age toning of the text block edges and pages with scattered foxing to the text block edges and the first few and last few pages of the book . Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with some shipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip corners. Rubbing of the dustwrapper panels. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
