Prague: Literární umělecký kruh Aktivisté, 1941. Quartos. original staple-stitched self-wrappers; [16] pp. per issue. Illustrations from photographs. Very good. Two issues of a scarce war-time journal by the little-known literary group Aktivisté (Activists), whose spokesman seems to have been Vladimír Kolátor (1903-1986), a theatre director, playwright, and gay rights activist in inter-war Czechoslovakia. With contributions by Kolátor, Hana Janíčková, Jiří Suchánek, Ladislav Sova, Julie Flanderková, Stanislav Šašek, K. H. Hilar, L. Dymeš, B. Penka, G. R. Binding, and others. Continued in 1942-1944 as Živá tvorba: literární měsíčník. The Czech National Library catalog also notes a journal by the title Uboj: zpravodaj snaživých, which appeared in Kladno between 1936 and 1942. As of June 2020, we cannot find any issues worldwide under this title, only of the subsequent journal "Živá tvorba.
