Professionally recased with the original spine laid back; very impressively finished. Remains particularly well-preserved overall; tight, bright, clean and strong. ; 529 pages; Subject: Henson, Josiah, 1789-1883. Tissue-guarded frontis; added t. P. Engraving. All edges gilt, text within ornamental borders. Scattered marginal foxing. Together with Bullen's bibliography of the work and an introductory account.
