Palmer Cox was a Canadian author and illustrator best known for The Brownies, based on Celtic mythology and highland Scottish tales told to Cox by his grandmother. Brownies are small imaginary male sprites, who enjoy harmless pranks and helpful deeds and have never been seen by people. "Another Brownie Book" is the second book in Cox' Brownies series.
This 1890 first edition features twenty-four Brownie stories, all told in verse, complete with numerous black and white wood engravings and color illustrations.
