About This Item
12mo, period full calf, red morocco spine label, [2], xxii, 240 pp. Extremities worn, joints and hinges cracking, but still reasonably firm, foxing throughout, and a little soiling, small hole in front endpaper; still a good copy.
An American Imprint with a secular title, that provides a wide range of craft information. Topics range from engraving to wine making. While the commentary is often short and sweet, discussion does give you a real feel how to do it. On the chapter on wine making, it gives enough information for actually making different types of wines. There is even a chapter on spot and stain removal, and another on cooking. Evans 29243. Sabin 98399.
