Description:
Boston: Nimrod, 1966. Plain glassine dust jacket is torn bottom of front panel and has small chips and tears along the edges. Poems; 142 pages. Inscribed by "author" on front free endpaper "To ___, my beloved colleague, with gratitude for all your help in past years, Eliot White / New Year's, 1967". A typed card, laid-in, written by the author's daughter, explains the book inscription "Just a note to bring you the sad news that my father, Rev. Eliot White, passed away in the early morning of January 20th . . . . he had had a collection of his poems published this fall, and ironically, the books were delived just this week. . . . . He had been looking forward to sending you a copy, so you will be receiving it, inscribed just as he asked me to do it." Presumably, all other "signed" copies will have been done by the author's daughter.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover in Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Good.
