New York: Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, 1970. First Edition. cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine. A handsome First Edition (so stated) of Charles Lindbergh's wartime memoir, inscribed by the author on the title page, "To Jack Stanton/With best wishes,/Charles A. Lindbergh." In fine dark blue cloth, the book is very solid, clean and bright in the interior but shows minor shelf wear and mark on the bottom edge and a couple of tiny ink marks on the front edge; the page edges are naturally tanned. Includes 1038 pp with many black & white photos and an extensive index. The dustjacket is complete with the original price ($12.95) but has tears along the edge and minor tanning overall. A special First Edition signature by one of America's heroes.
